The Comida Ilocandia feast on a budget with my friends, thanks to MetroDeal

I've been a fan of Ilocano food ever since I can remember, maybe because my dad's from the north and he usually cooks us Igado and Tinuno, two of the dishes that are native to that place. It's always a feast everytime my dad wants to cook, and he sees to it that he'll invite his friends along.

There are some times that I'm craving for other Ilocano dishes – the Bagnet is so sinfully good treat, and the Ilocos empanada is another one. I can't seem to control my foodie cravings that's why verytime my and my friends hang out, I always tell them to drop by in a restaurant where they serve delicious Ilocano cuisine... and they did!

Few days ago, I went to my friend's house in Quezon City and I saw a glimpse of this restaurant as I went home. Later did I found out that it was Comida Ilocandia, a quaint little restaurant that serves slow-cooked-but-perfectly-cooked Ilocano dishes for everyone to enjoy. It's a treat indeed for some of the northerners who wants to have a taste of authentic Ilocano dishes that will surely be loved by many of us.

I told this enchanting find at her and she tole me about the deal that she saw at Metrodeal – it was the 500 pesos worth of food of drinks at Comida Ilocandia at half a price! It was a delicious treat that I don't wanna miss! After checking the site and read the inclusions of the deal I've no hesitations to buy the promo. Me and my friends scheduled on going to the Comida ilocandia to have a taste on their dishes!

It was on saturday when we planned on going back to Comida Ilocandia with the Metrodeal voucher in our hands, and we're shocked that the restaurant is jam-packed at that time! When we got to have our seats at that time we ordered the house special – the bento meal that consist of Bagnet, Adobo, Longanisa and Tinuno. It was all sinfully delicious and “healthy” for all of us. I can't help but to have another serving while having a sip of the restaurant's house special – the Champola and the Basi!

It was a night to remember because of the company of friends and the food! And best of all, the Ilocandia feast is all worth it thanks to MetroDeal!

Budget-friendly delectable feast from Ebun, courtesy of MetroDeal

I love how spanish-inspired cuisines captivate me to the core, for its unique taste has conquered my heart and my tastebuds. Now what makes me want to come back for more?

This is my love story between me and Ebun, a cozy, spanish-inspired restaurant located at the SM Mall of Asia. Tucked away from the city's busiest districts, Ebun is a perfect place to dine in and to have fun while enjoying the scenery around the prestigious SM Mall of Asia. I've already went here few months ago and I enjoy the food and the ambience of the whole place. And as for the prices it was an ok for me. Not too pricey, and not too cheap as well.

It was a surprise for me to see Ebun having a promo in Metrodeal, one of the prestigious group buying sites around the city. On the deal itself, you can have 1000 pesos worth of food and drinks for only 600 pesos, and I think it's a great catch!

I was wondering though, “Why on Metrodeal?” I heard so much about this certain group buying site that offers discounts on everything, mostly on half the price. After reading some of the blog reviews about them I've been skeptical for what they have to offer, for I've been afraid that the site itself is a scam, well let's wait and see to try it out.

I purchased 2 deals from them, booked for reservations and proceed to Ebun on my reserved date with my friends. I better try this deal to know better firsthand.

Me and my friends meet up and went to Ebun, and good thing that I called for reservations or else we will wait for our turn for hours! The restaurant itself is crowded, and I was surprised that it was jam-packed at that night. The waiter courteously assisted us to the table reserved for us and I told them about the voucher that I purchased from Metrodeal. They asked me for the printed voucher and ID for validation and voila! It was all valid! :)

We enjoyed everything from Ebun using that voucher that I bought from them and we all love their entrees, from their yummy appetizers to the main feast to the dinner that they served. Not only did I love the company of friends that I have on that day, but also the amount of food that we ate. Because of the half the price deal from them, we tend to order more food. Oh boy it was a feast to remember!

I am so thankful that I bought the promo from Metrodeal, it was so worth it! :)

My newbie fencing experience :)

I've been fascinated at the world of sports ever since. I see to it that I can watch the Olympics or any sports in general at the sports channel just to watch them do their own thing. I like to watch basketball and billiards in general, and I also like to watch the gymnastics for they look so graceful and flexible.

Another sport that captured my attention is fencing. Why so? It's like a swords fight, but not bloody and it really looks classy. I love the fact that it looks precise, but in a swift manner.

Watching them do the fencing moves makes me want to learn the sport. I have never fenced in my entire life, but I decided to give it a try just for the love of the sport. Good thing that Metrodeal has this basic fencing class session for only 149 pesos!

After purchasing these vouchers on the said deal, I think it's all worth buying for, and here's why:

  • It's cheaper than on other deals – I've seen so many deals posted in the site, and this is the cheapest that I've seen.
  • Convenient – Since I'm based in makati, the one located in Perea is the most convenient for me.
  • Perfect for noobs in the said sport – After checking the profile online, they said that they can teach the basics for the beginners, great thing for noobs like I am lol! :))
  • They provided the things needed for the fencing session – after checking the things needed for fencing, I found out that the foil itself is expensive! I simply can't afford to have one. And the protective clothing needed are more costly. Good thing that they provided these things, and they see to it that protective gear is being washed for the next user.
  • There are separate classes for kids and the kids at heart – there are basic fencing classes for kids and grown-ups, and I can interact with them too!
  • Teachers are accommodating and qualified – One of my fencing teachers has competed in different fencing bouts here and abroad, and despite his strong physique, he's really nice too! Talk about looks and talent, and I think he's hot! :D

And so I went to my first fencing session in Makati few weeks ago and they teach me the basics of fencing, and as I arrived I need to be dressed up in my protective gear. They taught me the basics, and I never thought that this can be this tough! Fencing needs to be precise, and the moves need to be fast. One slight move or point can cause damage or points to the opponent, that's why professional fencers needs to be swift and precise in order to win.

Good thing I purchase more on this amazing promo from MetroDeal. Looking forward to my next fencing session!

Can't get enough of Q-Mochi's delectable treats at a budget-friendly price from MetroDeal!

I've been a connoisseur for sweets and all kinds of desserts for as long as I remember. Desserts, like coffee makes me a one happy baby. It makes me elevate to places, and takes me to the heavenly abode. It's effect has taken me to places I've never dreamed of.

Crazy as it sounds, but my addiction to sweets has never stop. It's been in my daily regimen and I think it'll never vanish. I love its effect on me, but I don't mind.

Right now, I'm craving for japanese sweets for it has a distinct taste that I never found on other kinds of desserts. I've tried japanese cakes, mochis and pretzels in general. And right now, I saw this mochi cake that looks interesting to eat from a local supermarket in Taguig. It was from Q-mochi, a brand from Subaraya, Indonesia. I was surprised that there's a mochi brand that came not on Japan, but on the largest archipelago in the world. I think it's worth the try, knowing that it came from a place unknown for me.

A friend of mine told me about this discount promo from Metrodeal – Q-Mochi's choco pie or mochi cake promo from Metrodeal sure looks delicious! I saw these awesome mochi cakes from the supermarket and it costs around 300 pesos, while in Metrodeal it only costs around 140 pesos, and I think it's a sweet deal!

Without hesitations, I bought the deal and went to Market Market to claim the offer using my printed voucher and some identification cards needed to claim the sweet treat. And boy I tell you, the mochi cake is heaven on earth, I can hear the angels sing the Aleluia chorus after having my first bite! And even the mochi choco pie has the right kind of sweetness that I've been craving for. It was all worth it!

Good thing that I bought 10 vouchers for this incredible Metrodeal promo, so that I could share this delightful treat to my friends and family. For sure they will be surprised on this amazing deal, and on this delectable treat from Indonesia.

I have to give my thumbs up on this amazing find, and on the price as well. It was worth the money and it soothes my sweet tooth. Many thanks to Metrodeal's amazing discounts for this wonderful treat! :)

Doc Lawrence's skin whitening and IPL treatment

I think having a flawless, white underarms is a scene stealer. I remember watching my friend's theater performance one day and weird as it may seem, but I'm more focused on her lovely underarms than on her performance itself. I love the fact that I can wear sleeveless shirts, tank tops and tube tops and raise your arms with ease, without worrying about your dark, hairy bushes hidden under my arms.

But alas, dark underarms has been my problem ever since. I tried shaving, plucking and even using whiteners to achieve my dream of having white underarms. After several attempts, still i've no luck. Having flawless underarms is definitely not for me.

I know that all of the discount deals on IPLs and underarm whitenings on different websites are usually hailed at Makati and Ortigas, and it's far enough for me. I've been living in Marikina all my life, and I usually travel from our place to Makati for 2-3hrs. I can't afford to travel and to pay additional fees for my transportation, just to get this done. I'm still hoping to find a discount promo like this one where I can go on weekends and is just a few minutes ride for me.

Doc Lawrence clinic, one of the well-known beauty clinic in our area has a promo posted on MetroDeal. The IPL hair removal and skin whitening treatment is just a perfect match for me, for it's only 99 pesos and it's just a few blocks away from our place. I've heard so much about the said beauty clinic and I was amazed on the results from them. And because of this amazing find from Metrodeal, I bought 10 vouchers from the site and booked myself for reservations.

I went there and the receptionist assisted to the room where the IPL and whitening procedure takes place. The attendant who will do the procedure has put me at ease, for I thought the IPL treatment was THAT scary, but it's not. The IPL was fast and not painful, and the whitening treatment is ok for me.

After the session, I was surprised that my skin is now lighter and cleaner. The attendant who did the procedure told me that it's a good thing that I purchased 10 vouchers from Metrodeal for it'll took 10 sessions in order to see the best results, and I can't wait to have my life-long dream of having a flawless underarms in the soonest possible time!

I'm glad that Metrodeal has got this offer up and running on their site, wee!
